The current house was built about 3oo years ago. The Kitada family\u00a0had been a\u00a0wealthy farmer in Katano since the Sengoku period\u00a0and, in effect, managed the Katano area instead of <em>Daimyo<\/em> and <em>Shugodai<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Kitada House<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Open Date &amp; Time:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Kitada House opens to the public twice a year (in spring and autumn). Normally, it\u00a0is\u00a0impossible to look it around\u00a0due to a security reason.
