Daikokuten is one of the Seven Deities of Good Fortune (Shichifukujin) and the symbol of prosperity.<\/p>\n<p>The figure of Daikokuten was allegedly made in the Muromachi period (14th to 16th Century). Therefore, in January, Hannyaji hosts Katano Daikokuten Festival\u00a0with Sumiyoshi&#8217;s Katano Ebisu Festival.
